The next Northside Conservatives meeting is March, February 13th at 7:15 AM at Briarwood Golf Club (3405 NE Trilein Dr, Ankeny).

Our speakers are Adam Steen who is campaigning for governor, and Eric Pearson, a candidate for Iowa Senate District 21.

Adam Steen

Adam Steen is a husband, father, minister, former professional athlete, successful entrepreneur, and top government watchdog who is ready to govern Iowa on day one. Steen has been a strong, Christian leader for the state in the Governor’s cabinet and will work alongside President Donald Trump to usher in a golden age of prosperity in Iowa.

Because of Adam’s business success, he was recruited and appointed Director of the Department of Administrative Services (DAS) in 2021. As Director of DAS, Adam led and completed many of the largest projects in the history of state operations. His work created efficiencies within state government which will lead to millions of dollars in taxpayer savings.

Adam lives in Runnells with his wife, Kasey, and two young boys, Ryker (10) and Maverick (8).

Eric Pearson

Pearson is currently the Sergeant-At-Arms in the Iowa Senate and serves on the Polk County GOP Central Committee.  “I’ve served in the Iowa Senate since 2024 on the Senate staff, and I feel I have a unique perspective on how to get things done”.

Pearson will be running to lower childcare costs, improve senior access to healthcare across all of Iowa and eliminate Iowa property taxes.

Pearson had a successful career in sales and sales management in the pharmaceutical and cellular telecommunications industries. He is a graduate of Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School and holds a BA in Political Science from Iowa State University.

Pearson was born in Carroll, IA.  He has twin daughters and 7 grand kids that live in Iowa. “I’m running to secure a bright future for my family and all Iowans”.  He attends Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Ankeny, IA.
